L-Acoustics House of Worship Tour comes to South AfricaThe L-Acoustics House of Worship Tour, which visits churches and worship spaces around the world, is coming to South Africa. Church technical teams, volunteers, consultants, and anyone interested in PA design or building audio systems are invited to attend the workshop in Johannesburg on 19 November and in Cape Town on 21 November from 1pm to 5pm.
Joshua Maichele (Application, Americas – House of Worship Global Lead) and Alan Johnson (Business Development, Americas – House of Worship Global Lead) from L-Acoustics will guide attendees through audio infrastructure and the creation of immersive sound experiences. This experience is designed to empower attendees with world-class audio insight, training, and innovative sound solutions tailored for worship environments.
About Joshua Maichele:
Based in Michigan in the United States, Joshua Maichele is the Application Director, House of Worship for L-Acoustics who focuses on audio in the church environment and delivers workshops worldwide. His journey with sound began at just nine years old when he first stepped behind an audio console and discovered his passion for music and sound. By the age of 22, Joshua had launched his professional career, and for the past two decades, he has been mixing and designing systems. His extensive experience includes roles as FOH/Monitor Engineer, Lighting Designer, Production Manager, Video Director/Engineer, and Tour Manager for various clients and venues.
Joshua has a personal passion for training volunteers in churches, believing that technology should seamlessly blend into the worship experience. He designs systems using the latest technologies and methods to create the most integrated and seamless setups possible, understanding that it's often the smallest details that make the biggest impact for the end user.
Cost: While the workshop is free of charge, booking is essential.
