Papayazz was born from the artistic encounter between Colombian singer Marcela Bohórquez and Belgian trumpeter Pierre Malempré, who channel their shared feelings of cultural displacement between Colombia and Belgium into vibrant music.�Joined by five talented musicians, the project delivers a colorful cocktail of Caribbean, Colombian, and Cuban sounds — where Pacific and Andean harmonies meet the rhythmic energy of jazz and Afro-Cuban grooves.
