Kōrero in the City (previously Red Chair Chats) is an interactive installation where you can join us for a ‘casual kōrero’. We invite you to share your stories and experiences, come into our space, sit down and tell your story.We will also activate the space and surrounding area with activities that build upon build upon Te Kōrero Tākaro / Stories of Play, a collaborative project between InCommon Gap Filler and Our Stories. This will develop a cross-cultural understanding through shared experiences of play.
Humans of Christchurch will have a visual display of past stories on show and InCommon will display their Inclusivity Posters to highlight the diverse communities in our city and the connections between us all.

Kōrero in the City is part of the Christchurch Heritage Festival 2025 Building Place - evolving communties, and is a collaboration between Humans of Christchurch Ōtautahi, InCommon, Gapfiller and Our Stories Project.
