About this Event
Cinematic soundscapes full of passion, grandeur and mystery. Australian guitarist, songwriter and producer Kyran Daniel began his career performing internationally alongside Tommy Emmanuel, Michael Franti and Japanese guitar legend Kotaro Oshio. He has collaborated with an impressive cohort of Australian artists including G Flip, Gretta Ray and Kingswood.
His performance here at The Back Room presents solo guitar pieces that capture the beauty, history and passion of Tuscany, Cinque Terre, Verona, Venice, Rome and the Côte d’Azur. Composed during the European summer of 2022, the compositions draw from Kyran’s more neo-classical influences including Ludovico Einaudi and Ólafur Arnalds.
Inspired by the technical artistry and influence of Italy, Kyran embraced the guitar techniques of his mentor Tommy Emmanuel to create cinematic soundscapes full of passion, grandeur and mystery.
"I knew at that time he would be an incredible force in music…he was always received with thunderous applause and standing ovations…" - Tommy Emmanuel
