Fredericton’s Kylie Fox & her band – along with support from Julia Cunningham and Darren Roy Clarke – take to The Carleton stage on Friday, March 28th. Show time is 8 PM and tickets are $25 + HST.
Canadian folk-songstress Kylie Fox brings her acclaimed album Sequoia (2024) to the stage this Spring for the ‘There Are Only So Many Great Nights’ Tour. Joined with her five-piece band, she will share the stories behind songs like "Confetti' and 'Brandi Baby', that delve into themes of gratitude towards the women in her life, the environment, her relationships and herself. The show is a dynamic homage to the record, exhibiting whimsical flute solos, three part harmony, quiet acoustic moments, and a captivating voice that's an invitation into Kylie's world. Amplify Magazine says, “Her charisma is invigorating, creating a warm, safe listening place, even when the topics at hand have heft and weight”. Find Your Sounds says “Just about everybody in the industry is sitting up and taking notice.” Fans of Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush and Brandi Carlile will fall in love with Kylie Fox.

Julia Cunningham is a singer-songwriter from Halifax, Canada. After years of quietly sharing her music with local audiences, the Music Nova Scotia grant recipient is stepping into the spotlight as a captivating emerging artist. Cunningham’s recently arrived debut EP, Dive Deep, is a culmination of many years of writing, creating and fine-tuning a collection of songs that are deeply personal, yet profoundly relatable. From her warm vocals to her earnest lyrics to her skillful guitar playing, Cunningham’s folk-pop sound exudes a sense of nostalgia befitting for the end credits of a movie. juliacunninghammusic.com
