Join the City of Kyle in celebrating the Fourth of July with the Independence Day Celebration Fireworks Show on Thursday, July 4 from 5:00 - 9 p.m. at La Verde Park, 3901 Burnham. This family-friendly celebration will feature live music, food, drink and market vendors, and a community countdown culminating with a stunning 25-minute fireworks show.
Vendor Opportunities:
The City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting applications for food, drink and market vendors.

Vendors are encouraged to apply early as it takes 1-2 business days for applications to be processed. Vendor payment must be made within five business days from from the approval email. The deadline to apply and pay to participate in the Kyle Independence Day Celebration is Monday, June 24 at 2 p.m.

Parking:
Residents will be able to watch the show from La Verde Park, the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center parking lot and several other locations throughout Kyle. All residents viewing the fireworks display should exercise caution when selecting their viewing location and avoid parking on curbs, shoulders or medians.
Fireworks will be launched at approximately 9:15 p.m. from Plum Creek Golf Course. However, Plum Creek Golf Course will be closed to the public during the display.
Safety:
The City of Kyle would like to give advance warning of the fireworks display that will begin at sundown on Thursday, July 4 at Plum Creek Golf Course in the understanding that while fireworks can be a celebration for some, they can also be stressful for others.
Pet owners are asked to also take steps to protect pets from fireworks by leaving them at home and keeping them safely inside, shielded from loud noises.
It is unlawful for any person to sell, use or discharge fireworks within the City of Kyle, except under special permit as authorized by the city or in the fire code adopted by the city. Any person in violation of this ordinance may be charged with a class C misdemeanor and can be fined be as high as $2,000.
