Sign your child up for for Kyle’s littlest competition, the Tiny Tot Triathlon hosted by the City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department on Saturday, April 26 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Gregg-Clarke Park, 1231 W. Center St.The Tiny Tot Triathlon will be a mini-triathlon for kiddos between 3-8 years old, featuring a route with biking, walking/running, and a cool down at the James Adkins Pool. There will be three heats based on age, the schedule is as follows:
- 7:15-8:30 a.m. - Check-in
- 8 a.m. - Tots Race (3-4 year-olds)
- 8:30 a.m. - Tikes Race (5-6 year-olds)
- 9 a.m. - Trotters Race (7-8 year-olds)
Registration and a fee of $10 per Tiny Tot is required to participate. Registration is open now until Monday, April 14 or until registration is full and can be done at KyleRec.RecDesk.com.
The week of the event, registrants will receive their scheduled heats. Top racers for each age group will advance to the final heat. Each participant will receive a medal and a T-shirt.
CHILDREN MUST BRING THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT - Bicycles, tricycles, striders, or scooters WILL NOT be provided.
What to Bring:
- Bicycle, Tricycle, Strider, or Scooter
- Helmet
- Tennis Shoes
- Comfortable clothes that can get wet
- Swim diaper (if child is still in diaper or pull-ups)
- Towel
