Join us for the Gatineau River Festival!KWP will camp at Bonnet Rouge, however, you are welcome to find camping at the festival or elsewhere. For more info on the festival, please checkout https://gatineau.org/the-festival/#impact-fest-en.
Our club paddling shuttles will be organized for Saturday and Sunday at the Bonnet Rouge campground, likely leaving around 10:30am each day. Some KWP'ers are arriving midday Friday, hoping to fit in an afternoon paddle. If you are interested, please post in the event discussion, and try to arrive by 12 or 12:30 so we can shuttle by 1:30 or 2 pm at the latest.
This trip is recommended for intermediate to advanced paddlers who are comfortable with running big water, with either minimal scouting or with guidance by verbal directions from the trip leader.
A solid roll would be helpful as some swims can be long.
