KWANZAAUjamaa African Marketplace!
Join us at a new location at the Farmer's Market Pavilion in downtown Eugene for the 2nd Annual Kwanzaa Ujamaa African Marketplace! Celebrate the Kwanzaa principle of Ujamaa (cooperative economics/upliftment) for this free event. Support Black-Owned Businesses in our African Marketplace at 4:00. Children enjoy a Kwanzaa storytime, book giveaway, and crafts at 4:30pm. Learn about the rich cultural history of Kwanzaa and participate in our Ujamaa ceremony with Kokayi Nosakhere at 5 pm.
A special thanks to our partners who have made this event completely free to the public -- Lane Small Business Development Center, OnPoint Community Credit Union, Dev NW, United Way of Lane County & Early Childhood Hub, Northwest Community Credit Union, Northwest Health Foundation, and the City of Eugene.
See you December 29th!
