Please Join Us for the Kwang He Won (KHW) Nonprofit Community Health Center Open House and Tour as we Kick Off the New Year! It will be a full evening of fun and learning more about all of the various critical primary health care services located right in the heart of Korea Town in Los Angeles!
This in-person event will not only be a great opportunity to meet and greet the KHW team, but also have the chance to meet stakeholders, community partners and leaders and the California State Treasurer, Fiona Ma who will be sharing the importance of how nonprofit clinics like KHW play a critical role in promoting and supporting the most vulnerable and underserved communities here in Los Angeles and greater California.
There will also valuable networking over a nice Korean meal provided by Bud Namu Korean BBQ - We are forever grateful for all of you who have supported the KHW journey and will continue to support this journey now and for future generations to come! About Kwang He Won Nonprofit Community Health Center
In 2018, Dr. Bena Won right before the Pandemic put forth in motion her passion and purpose of establishing the Kwang He Won Community Health Center right in the heart of Korea Town in Los Angeles, CA and received the 501(c)(3) nonprofit status to provide quality and more access to health care to her underserved community. In 2020, Dr. Won started the process in to receive the coveted Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status and in 2022, Kwang He Won was awarded Look-A-Like status and in 2022.
