A celebration of one of jazz’s great supergroups by 2x GRAMMY winner, Kurt Elling. This evening will not only reimagine Weather Report’s iconic songs but will also feature new vocalese arrangements inspired by their constellation of musicians. The program will include compositions such as “Remark You Made,” “Three Views of a Secret,” and “Continuum.”Throughout their storied 43-year history, the Yellowjackets have recorded 26 albums, received 18 Grammy® nominations and won 2, and performed countless sold-out tours, enjoying worldwide critical acclaim and commercial success. Formed in the late 1970s, their music and musicianship have never been more lauded and relevant to the contemporary jazz landscape. They continue to enthrall diehard fans while thrilling new listeners and younger jazz audiences.
Season Tickets (a discounted package of 7 or more shows) are on sale now. Single tickets for the show "THE BOOK OF MORMON" will go on sale online at 10 a.m. Sun., July 21. Single tickets for most other shows will be available online at 10 a.m. Mon., July 22. In-person and phone sales for all shows will begin at noon Wed., July 24.
