Kurilpa Reach are an enigmatic 7-piece band born out of Meanjin’s (Brisbane) vibrant music scene. Blending the writing sensibilities of indie rock and neo-soul with elements of roots, rock and reggae, KR have established themselves as a versatile artistic powerhouse with a knack for levelling any live crowd they get put in front of.Alongside their own headline shows, Kurilpa Reach has made a name for themselves as an exceptional live band at festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, Sound Splash (New Zealand), Caloundra Music Festival, Earth Frequency and Island Vibes Festival. In addition, they have supported some incredible Australian and International acts of all genres, displaying their versatility in live performance. Some notable examples include South Summits 2025 national album tour, Caravana Sun, Tijuana Cartel, Peach Fur and Shag Rock, as well as incredible New Zealand artists including The Black Seeds, Muroki, Masaya, and Strangely Arousing.
