Join us for KUOW Shorts live event series. The first event is Thursday, July 7 as we explore the podcast Subtext with KUOW's Bill Radke.
About this Event

This year, KUOW launched KUOW Shorts — a new series of original, short-run podcasts. Join the hosts and teams behind KUOW Shorts for a series of live events that look back at each podcast. Share your stories, questions and get a preview of what’s next in the KUOW Shorts line-up! For our first event, we'll explore “Subtext”, hosted by KUOW’s Bill Radke. Across six episodes, Bill explores the things we leave unsaid within our circles and across our communities — political divides within families; evolving workplace norms as we return to the office; how Zoom compelled some folks to reassess body image and cultural expectations about appearances.

Join KUOW, Thursday, July 7th at McCaw Hall's Nesholm Family Lecture Hall in Seattle as we dig into how to have fearlessly curious conversations and reconnect with some of the guests from the show.

Host:

Bill Radke, host of KUOW's podcast Subtext

Featured Guests:

Monica Guzman, author of "I Never Thought of It That Way: How to Have Fearlessly Curious Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times."

Julie Pham, author of "7 Forms of Respect: A Guide to Transforming your Communication and Relationships at Work."

Shin Yu Pai, writer, host, and producer of "The Blue Suit" - a podcast for KUOW Shorts, launches July 2022.
