Start Your Kung Fu Journey: Beginner ClassesJoin us at Seven Mountains Tai Chi in Downtown State College to begin your training in our Wu-Tang Kung Fu program.
Our new student path starts with our weekly beginner class, held every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This two-hour session is dedicated to teaching you everything you need to build a strong foundation. We will cover your warm-ups, basic stances, and the five element fists of our core Kung Fu style, Wudang Xingyiquan.
Wudang Xingyiquan is an excellent style for beginners to learn coordination and to begin cultivating internal power. You will develop core mechanics, strengthen the joints and fascia, and learn to utilize your bodyweight in every movement. We also cover foundational kicks and stances to develop a healthy and fit body.
Once you complete the foundational material in the Sunday class, you will be invited to join our regular evening classes to continue your training, allowing you to practice up to three days a week.
Schedule & Pricing:
• Beginner Class: Sundays, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Regular Class (after fundamentals): Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Cost:
Our Kung Fu program is $100/month. This fee includes the Sunday beginner class, the Tuesday/Thursday evening classes (once you are ready to join them), and weekend open training sessions.
