A Kundalini yoga class comes from an ancient form of yoga that uses chanting or a mantra to set the intention and space.
Kundalini yoga is a spiritual practice focused on awakening the kundalini energy, a latent energy believed to reside at the base of the spine, through a combination of breathwork, movement, chanting, and meditation. The goal is to promote spiritual enlightenment and increase self-awareness.
Kundalini yoga combines kriyas (sequences of movements, breath, and meditation), mantras (chanting), and mudras (hand gestures) to awaken and channel the kundalini energy.
The gift of this practice allows you to have sensitivity in the subtle roots and the impact of sound. You learn the sound of things and the subtle sound of consciousness that allows all other sounds to be.
