The lower chakras embody our humanness. Here is the foundation for the higher chakras and the base of kundalini energy. They guide us to higher consciousness and our individual and global needs for life and survival. All the passions, lower samskaras and karmas are here, along with every guilt, complex, emotions, attachments, and fear. It is the basis of human existence, the unconscious mind and the storehouse of mental experiences. Hence, these chakras are the most difficult to surpass. The workshop will cover practices and techniques to activate the lower chakras. We will take a closer look at their functioning and chakra checkup to see how we are doing on the journey to higher consciousness.
Workshop length 3:30 minutes May 04 at 9:30am until 1:00pm
*be sure to arrive a little early so we can start on time.
What to bring: yoga mat, water bottle.

Doug started teaching Yoga in 2017 after being a student for several years. Doug continues to be a student recently completing 500 hours of training at Sri Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh, India. He has completed teacher trainings in Hatha, Ashtanga and Kundalini Yoga. Doug began his yoga journey after “hitting the wall “ in life, facing serious health problems and life questions, yoga came at the right time. Doug has been leading classes and workshops in Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, Sound Journeys and Meditation, inspiring students from Canada to Costa Rica with his unique lifestyle and traditional yoga teachings.
