The Kunanyi Folk Club is proud to present Tasmanian singing legends, The Clementines!Warm, smooth, comforting…The Clementines weave harmonies that wrap around you like a blanket and make you feel at home. With three singers and three songwriters, their style draws in threads of influence from acapella, folk, country, blues, jazz and classical, and stitches them into a unique contemporary folk sound. Telling stories of womanhood, place, and belonging, their honest and endearing performances will have you laughing, maybe even crying. You will be awed by their rich tones and intricate vocal harmonies.
The Clementines have performed at various festivals around Tassie, including Cygnet Folk Festival, Festival of Voices, Mount Roland Folk Festival, Verandah Festival, and many local venues. They are working toward releasing their own debut EP later this year.
