About this Event
Idaho lawmakers recently passed a $50 million program that uses tax dollars to fund private school tuition.
Some lawmakers want to see the program expanded to $339 million a year. If they’re successful, this program would drain funding from your neighborhood schools and expand the funding gap for the 94% of students in Idaho’s public schools.
Join Save Our Schools Idaho for a Town Hall discussion on April 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Fremont Middle School about the harms of expanding this program.
The Town Hall will be moderated by Alicia Purdy, western regional chair of the NEA Republican Educators Caucus and IEA Region 8 Representative. Panelists will include Alexis Morgan, President of the Idaho PTA and Kim Nixon, Kuna School Board Trustee.
Attendees can submit questions for our panelists ahead of time or at the event. This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP to let us know you can make it.
