Celebrate the festival’s grand finale with a kugel cook-off and taste-off. Awards will be given, dreams will be made, and a great time will be had by all! Featuring our local Papashoy Klezmer Band and guest judges.Find your favorite recipe, channel your bubbe, and get baking for the Midwest Yiddishfest Kugel & Klezmer Cookoff Finale! 🎶✨
Competitors will each have a table with outlet access at the finale event — where attendees will taste every kugel and vote for their favorite! A panel of celebrity judges will also crown the Judges’ Choice Winner. 🏆
🧅 Details for competitors:
• Bring a vegetarian kugel pre-made for ~50 tasting portions
• You’re responsible for your own serving utensils
• Keep it warm — sterno setups available (contact coordinator if needed)
