Kudzu Harvest and Basket Class

Join local basketmaker Amber Gorski to learn how to harvest kudzu and prepare it for basket weaving. We will use basic basket weaving techniques to make a kudzu basket that you can take home. Bring a chair or stool and garden gloves and clippers, if desired. Amber will have some gloves and tools to share.

This event takes place with permission at the Skate Park near downtown Raleigh. The parking lot is on Dortch Street between N West St and Capital Blvd. We will meet in the south west corner of the skate park.

We will be outdoors, so come dressed for the weather. In case of rain or extreme cold this event page will be updated.
