Kudremukha Netravati Treks

PLAN IN A NUTSHELL:

Day 0 : Departure from Bengaluru

On Friday Get picked up in Bengaluru from the following points and start your journey towards Kudremukh. Travel in private Non A/C pushback seater. Pick-up points include:

Indiranagar - Karachi Bakery

Domlur - Union Bank

Yeshwantpur - Metro Station Market Exit

Gorgunte Playa - People Tree Hospital

Meals : Please have your dinner before boarding the vehicle

Day 1 : Kudremukh Trek(6214ft)(Distance - 22 km) or Netravati Trek(5000ft)(16km) (Depends on your own decision)

On the first day you will reach homestay early morning via off road vehicle.

After having breakfast Reach the Forest check post. By 09:00 AM.

Start trekking to the top of Kudremukh Peak surpassing multiple fresh water streams which is around 22 KM both ways.

Reach Ontimara a significant landmark on the trek is often reached after covering a distance of 8 km from the base.

The route after the second Ontimara includes a steep 3 km climb. Being physically fit is essential to fully appreciate the scenic views.

En route to the peak have a packed lunch midway (Once you reach the peak).

Enjoy the scenic view of the Shola forest. Upon reaching the Kudremukh Peak you'll be rewarded with a panoramic vista that encompasses rolling hills dense forests and the breathtaking expanse of the Western Ghats.

Once we reach the top all of us can enjoy the relishing view of the serenity the peak has to offer.

Return to the base camp around 06:00 PM after a trek to Kudremukh.

Once you reach the homestay freshen up and have high tea.

After a while have dinner and retire for the night.

Enjoy the bonfire depending on weather conditions.

Day 2 :Sightseeing and Departure

On the second day of your hike in Kudremukh you'll get up early around 5:30 am to go see the Soamavathi Waterfalls. You can enjoy a swim in the cool refreshing water and have a natural bath surrounded by nature.

Walk back to the homestay Post having breakfast head down via off-road vehicle.

Start heading towards Bengaluru.

Visit Samse Tea Estate and Belur Temple.

Have a blasting Self-sponsored lunch.

Return to Bangalore by 10 PM approx and get back home with splendid memories.k
