The largest and most engaging community event around cloud native technology in The Netherlands
About this Event

Two days of Kubernetes and Cloud Native, full of talks, workshops, events and fun and ending with a vegan BBQ and a party: this will be Kubernetes Community Days Amsterdam 2023! We are a locally-focused, inclusive and open community of engineers, developers, professionals and students of all things Cloud Native, coming together for celebrating our love and passion for technology. With 450 attendees, this is one of the largest events for cloud native in Europe, and our focus on local with a global perspective, our focus on open source and community, is what differentiate us from other commercial conferences.

What to expect?Presence and engagement with all main actors in the Cloud Native ecosystem
  • Technically competent talks, relevant to the larger community and coming from end-user rather than vendors. Aim is to ensure the highest possible quality of sessions for all types of attendees (from “beginner” to “black-belt”)
  • Special (and famous!) guests from Open Source, DevOps and Cloud Native communities
  • An exceptional venue with large and comfortable movie theaters for talks and demos
  • Great food, ending with a vegan BBQ and a full on party that goes on until the morning!

Call for papers

We are defining the final program, and our Call for Paper is still open until the end of October; moreover, we invite you to contact us directly for proposing workshops or lighting talks, or other forms of knowledge sharing you might deem fit for our event, by emailing us at [email protected]

Who is behind?

The event is organized by the Dutch Kubernetes Meetup and supported by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ; a diverse group of voluneteers from local communities and companies form the core team; we are open to more volunteers, please send us an email if you want to join the team. We follow and embrace the CNCF Event Code of Conduct and we expect all attendees and sponsor to follow it too. We are a diverse and inclusive community and we strive for our values of tolerance, respect and integrity.
