KTU Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences continues the tradition to gather professionals and researchers in a yearly KTU Big Data School! Mark the date, this year the event will be held on September 28-30 in Kaunas.As every year, experts from different institutions will share the latest news and state-of-the-art practices in the field.
The three-day event will feature theoretical and practical sessions which cover:
1. Tensorflow and Deep Learning (Dr. Michael Fairbank, University of Essex, UK);
2. Forecasting with Millions of News Articles as Data: The Methodology Behind Conflictforecast.org (Assoc. prof. Hannes Mueller, Barcelona School of Economics (BSE), Spain);
3. High-Dimensional Macroeconometric Time Series Models: Big Data and Machine Learning (Assoc. prof. Christian Brownlees, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain).
