KSO's Arthur D. Montzka's Young Artists Concerto Competition

KSO Holds Live Competition Saturday, January 4, 2025
The public is invited to attend the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra's Arthur D. Montzka Young Artists Concerto Competition on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 pm.
The live competition will be held in the Boutell Memorial Concert Hall in the Northern Illinois University Music Building. No ticket or registration is required to attend. Each applicant will have 12 minutes to perform one movement of a concerto of the musician's choice which will be critiqued by a panel of judges. The winner will be announced following the competition and on social media. The winner will perform with the orchestra at the KSO's Arthur D. Montzka Memorial Concert on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 7 p.m.
