Friday Night Soccer at the SportsPlex! January and February 2026!For Boys and Girls U9 through U12. The focus of our program is limited structure play - letting players play, make decisions, find solutions and have fun with a minimal of coaching. Each game will feature a roster of 5-8 players on a team playing 4v4 or 5v5 plus a goalkeeper. Game length will be determined after we compete registration and determine how many games we will play each night, but normal length is 40 minutes a game.
Players are divided by age and gender. Normally there are combined U9/U10 and U11/12 groups for boys (2 groups), and U9/U10 and U11/U12 groups for girls (2 groups). Depending on total registration numbers, we try to assure that each registered player will play in 6 total games over 8 possible dates. Teams are not permanent - we change rosters for each game to ensure that players play with different teammates over the course of the season.
When: Friday nights in January and February. Start times are usually 6, 7, 8 & 9pm, but may be altered depending on the total number of registered players. We rotate the start times weekly so that no one group will have to play all early or all late games. Start times and rosters will be published for all games on or around January 3.
