As part of International Take A Friend Snowmobiling Week, on Sunday February 9th we’ll be hosting our annual Take A Friend Group Snowmobile Ride in Whitehorse!Do you know someone who doesn’t snowmobile, but might be interested in trying it? Invite them today and bring them along!
- Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along on this ride.
- Ride starts from the Copper Haul Road / Fish Lake Road staging area at 10:00. Please show up as early as you need to and be fully ready to ride at 10:00.
- We expect to return to the same staging area before dark.
- We will be sticking to easy trails and stopping for plenty of breaks so riders of all skill levels and snowmobiles of all types are encouraged to participate.
- Packing some snacks and a light lunch to eat along the way is recommended.
- The Klondike Snowmobile Association will lead the way and provide some guidance, however all participants will be responsible for their own snowmobiles, riding gear, fuel, and snacks.
- Helmets and safe riding are mandatory for all K.S.A. rides.
- This ride is weather dependent and may be postponed on short notice, so please check back on the morning of the ride for confirmation.
