Taking time off to craft a new record with producer and close friend Nathan Hawes (Lazywax/Don West), Western re-emerged with an elevated sense of artistic maturity and honesty, leaning into his understated nature and drawing from his life experiences - late nights, love and surviving in the urban chaos of Sydney
