Join us for a reading with authors Kristen-Paige Madonia and Rebecca Kauffman. Kristen-Paige Madonia will be reading from her current work-in-progress, and Rebecca Kauffman will be reading from her new novel, I’ll Come to You. This in-person event will be cosponsored by WriterHouse and will be free and open to the public. We recommend arriving early for the best seating.
Kristen-Paige Madonia is the author of two young adult novels, Invisible Fault Lines and Fingerprints of You, both published by Simon & Schuster. An excerpt of her current work-in-progress was recently featured in Boulevard Magazine and nominated for the upcoming Pushcart Prize series. She was the recipient of a 2023 Community of Writers Workshop scholarship, a Sewanee Writers’ Conference Tennessee Williams Scholarship, the D. H. Lawrence Fellowship, the Key West Literary Seminar Marianne Russo Fellowship, and the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival Award. She has also received support from Aspen Summer Words, the Hambidge Center, the Vermont Studio Center, Juniper Summer Writing Institute, VCCA, Hedgebrook, the Millay Colony, and the Studios of Key West.
Rebecca Kauffman received her MFA in creative writing from New York University. She is the author of Another Place You’ve Never Been, which was long-listed for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize; The Gunners, which received the Premio Tribùk dei Librai; The House on Fripp Island; and most recently Chorus. Originally from rural northeastern Ohio, Kauffman now lives in Virginia.
