Krista Ellen Schauer, age 50, formally of Glencoe, MN, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at her residence in Topeka, Kansas.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Community Room in the Glencoe City Center.

Obituary
Krista Ellen (Dressen) Schauer was born on July 16, 1974, in Waconia, MN. She was the daughter of Delvin and Eileen (Dressen) Dittmer. She was baptized as an infant at the Church of the Assumption, in Hancock Township, Carver County, MN, and was rededicated to the Lord as a teenager through the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Plato, MN.
Krista was a loving sister, aunt, and friend to many. She spent most of her career in Talent Acquisition in a senior position. Krista found joy in traveling, shopping, and horseback riding. In her free time, she regularly spent time with her sisters, nieces, and nephews. Whether exploring new places or spending time with family and friends, she embraced life with enthusiasm and inspired many.
Krista is survived by
Parents: Delvin and Eileen Dittmer
Sisters: Lisa Hill and her husband, Herb; Amy Dittmer; and Angela Oltmann and her husband, Cory.
Nieces and Nephews: Nathan Harris, Devon Harris, Alexis (Wildey) Janikula and her husband Kyle, Kylie Hill, Jordan Wildey, Ricky Wildey, Anthony Wildey, Jr., Addison Oltmann, and Nolan Oltmann.
Krista is also survived by her beloved dog Arlo.
