Welcome to the 4th Annual Krispy King Lager Competition & Festival to celebrate crisp, delicious LAGERS!Make room, Alpha King! The Krispy King Lager Competition is here, where only the best-tasting, crispiest lagers are crowned winners!
Our competition is unlike any other, as all beers are submitted in kegs and judged from those same kegs. We then tap those same kegs and serve them to the customers. You are drinking the exact same beer that the judges had.
The KKLC 2025 promises to be a fun experience for all!
SCHEDULE:
Doors open at 2pm!
Live Music: 2pm - 315pm Andy Eppler, 330pm - 5pm Jockey Box Band & 530pm - 730pm Matt Wetherbee & the Gnarbillys.
Vendors: TATtered-N-Torn (make your own trucker hat or shirt). Kneadful Rings (selling lager donuts). Trinity Cigar Trailer/Lounge (enjoy a nice cigar from their custom lounge).
Food: Barrels & Bottles Brewery kitchen (serving sandwiches & specials). Shuck Brothers (oysters & lobster rolls).
Parking: No general parking will be available in our lot, only handicap parking. ALL parking is across the street next to the Rock Rest Bar in the grass field. Use caution when crossing the street!
Beer Tokens - NEW! Purchase beer tokens when you arrive to keep the lines moving & beer in your hand! 1 token = 1 beer. More you buy, the more you save. No tabs will be started.
Transportation: bus transportation from and to the Denver Convention Center. 3pm - 8pm. Pick up in front of the convention center (exact details to come).
Awards: 1st - 5th places announced at 6pm
This event is open to the public and free to attend. Competition beers will be on tap for consumers to enjoy.
