The Krewe of Kuties is excited to announce its 9th Annual Kids Marching Parade will return to Old Gretna for Mardi Gras 2026. 🟪 LIKE the Krewe of Kuties FB Page.
So dust off your bikes, floats, strollers, wagons and start decorating!
The parade will stroll down Huey P. Long Avenue in beautiful Old Gretna on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The parade line-up starts at 1:00 p.m. at 3rd Street and Huey P. Long Avenue. The parade will circle Huey P. Long Avenue at 3rd to 8th to 3rd Streets ending at the Gretna Farmer’s Market for king cake festivities.
🟩 ABOUT THE PARADE: The Krewe of Kuties is a walking neighborhood parade where kids are welcome to join in the fun!
There are no fees/charges for kids to participate. There is no application to complete. Just show up the day of the parade and join the procession.
🟨 Kids should gather their festive throws, decorate a bike, wagon, cart or stroller (NO GOLF CARTS), wear a costume and march along OR watch the parade from the comfort of their home on the porch, driveway, sidewalk or neutral ground.
