KUNTARI (touring in Europe and UK) is constantly experimenting with primitive voices, producing animal mating calls with a Trumpet, mixed with tons of variation of Indonesian tribal rhythms. Their music is made of percussive primal sound along with dark ambients, a firm and solid encounter between two individuals with intense dynamic of heavy ancient beats. Their live performances create an organic raw sonical untamed with feral approach.
"Blisteringly inventive" - The Guardian
"a mixture of unclassified heavy rhythm and shivering howl. It’s a stunner" - The Wknd
"a fresh and welcome addition to Indonesia's exciting experimental music scene" - Jakarta Post
"a solid experimental album, unique and shows that Kuntari has found their own distinctive sound" - Vice

ELL SOL (Him Alone) is one of the many faces of Joan Mena. Composer, performer, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, improviser, organiser, and multitasker from Barcelona (Catalonia) based in The Netherlands.
Joan Mena pulls the roots of Catalan contemporary music with Ell Sol using extended techniques on his Mediterranean guitar or kologo decomposing imaginary songs and pushing his body to the limits at each performance.
"Does Catalonian balladry involve a lot of sighing, whispering, squawking and screeching? Well regardless if it does or it doesn’t we got that. Charming and very surprising show, a whole new approach to playing a guitar.¨
