It's that time again... the Annual KR Santa Claus Kite/Wing Downwinder is nearly here. Always fun, always a laugh, and always great people.
When?
Saturday, 14th December, timing below. May change to an after work session in the leadup if Saturday isn't looking primo.
Rough schedule:
3pm - meet KR School St Kilda for carpooling, leave at 3:15'ish
3:30pm - meet Brighton for setup
3:45pm - Santa Photo at Brighton
4:00pm - Hit the water and get your Santa Downwinder on!
5:00-5:30pm - Arrive back at KR School, St Kilda for BBQ and to kick off the Social Send & Snags on the beach ?

Where?
Meet at Kite Republic School on St Kilda West Beach at 3pm. We'll help organize carpooling from there. Best if you arrange your own carpooling but if unsure or if you would like to claim a seat or offer a seat in your car please email [email protected]
What to bring?
All your gear as well as a Santa Suit/Hat.
Cost?
FREE
Minimum Level?
Kiters/Wingers... must be comfortable riding upwind, riding toeside and able to comfortably complete downwind runs.
Bookings?
Kiting - Not required. We will organise carpooling on the day.
Wing - please email [email protected] if carpooling is required as larger setups mean this isn't quite as easy ?
