As the frontman of the Stockholm-based indie band Planet Ibiza, he has built a strong reputation for his energetic and unconventional live performances. The band's concerts, often described as almost ritualistic, have attracted an ever-growing and dedicated audience. Axel and his band have had 12 sold-out concerts in Stockholm, where everything from spontaneous marriages to romantic rituals have become part of their unique live shows.

Axel has collaborated with a number of prominent producers and creators, including Alexander Juneblad (Academics), and has a strong connection to the well-known creative collective Random Bastards.
