KPU: Victoria Day Trip

This summer, KPU International and Kwantlen Student Association (KSA) co-host a weekend getaway for KPU students. A day trip to Victoria offers a delightful blend of picturesque landscapes, charming historic sites, and vibrant cultural attractions.

🚀 Agenda:

6:45 am - Arrive to KPU Surrey, Parking LOT S1 for Check-In and Waiver Signage

7:15 am - Departure time. No late comers accepted.

9:00 - 10:35 am: Ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay

11:00 am: Arrive in Downtown Victoria

11:00 am - 12:30 pm: Enjoy freetime in the city

12:30- 1:45pm: Lunch at Craft Harbour Restaurant

1:45 - 3:45pm: Continue exploring Victoria (Royal BC Museum tickets are provided - optional)

4: 15pm: Arrive at pick-up spot. No late comers accepted

4:30pm: Depart Victoria for Swartz Bay

6:00 - 7:35 pm: Ferry to Tsawwassen

8:30 pm - Return to KPU Surrey Parking Lot S1

We also provide lunch for students at Craft Harbour Restaurant. Each student can choose one entrée and a soft drink.

Please note that you have to choose your entrée when you purchase a ticket. Your choice can not be modified after submission.

ROYAL BC MUSEUM

During your free time to explore Victoria, we also offer an option to visit the Royal BC Museum. This is optional, as some people may prefer to spend more time on outdoor activities.

If you choose to visit Royal BC Museum, It's an enriching experience for all ages. It showcases British Columbia's natural and human history with immersive exhibits and interactive displays. Visitors can explore diverse ecosystems, indigenous heritage, and historical artifacts.

📢Terms and Conditions for Event Participation

Exclusive to KPU students aged 19+: This event is strictly for KPU students who are 19 years of age or older.

Mandatory KPU Student ID: All attendees must present their KPU student ID at the entrance.

Entry Policy: Entry will be denied to anyone who:

• Does not bring their KPU ID.
• Does not bring goverement issued ID.
• Arrives after the event has started at 6:45 AM or the pick-up time at 4:15PM. Please note that the bus will leave promptly at the designated departure time. If you arrive late, you will miss the bus and be required to find your own transportation back to the mainland/Vancouver.

Ticket Policy:

• Tickets are non-refundable.
• Limit of one ticket per student. Duplicates will be automatically cancelled with no refund.

Refund Policy: Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable

Signing Waivers Required: All participants must sign waivers.

Release of Liability: By purchasing a ticket, you agree to release Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) from any liability relating to injuries or accidents that may occur during the event. You acknowledge that attendance and participation in the event is voluntary and at your own risk.
