Trail Obstacle ClinicSaturday | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
This clinic is designed as a structured, educational training session focused on developing practical trail skills outside of the arena environment.
Participants will work through a progressive series of obstacles that address:
• Correct body control and positioning
• Responsiveness to seat, leg, and rein aids
• Straightness, softness, and forward intent
• Mental composure in new environments
• Clear, effective communication between horse and rider
Obstacles are intentionally selected to evaluate and improve foundational training principles — not simply to “get through” the obstacle, but to execute it correctly with balance and understanding.
Young or green horses are welcome, and exercises may be completed in-hand or under saddle depending on the training level. All disciplines are encouraged to participate.

About the hosts:
Kupec Progressive Horsemanship is a husband-and-wife program rooted in practical horsemanship, strong foundational training, and a clear commitment to developing both horse and rider with intention and purpose.
Will’s specialty is colt starting and developing young horses with a solid, dependable foundation. After years working alongside respected horsemen, he developed a training style of his own rooted in practical, real-world application. His experience spans a wide range of disciplines, working with FEI dressage horses, Grand Prix hunter jumpers, cutting horses, and young prospects alike.
Kim’s dedication is helping riders better understand and communicate with their horses. With experience across multiple disciplines, she works with riders of all levels to improve feel, timing, and clarity in the saddle — often blending classical dressage foundations into practical, real-world ranch situations.
Together, they offer a balanced approach that blends foundational training with rider education, creating clinics that are purposeful, practical, and grounded in correct horsemanship.
