Green horse trail obstacle exposure Saturday | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
This clinic is designed specifically for yearlings, unstarted horses, and lightly started prospects needing structured exposure in a controlled, educational setting.
The focus is on building a confident, thinking horse through purposeful groundwork and introductory obstacle work outside of the arena.
Participants will work through age-appropriate exercises that develop:
• Leading manners and spatial awareness
• Respect for pressure and release
• Forward intent and willingness
• Confidence over and around new objects
• Mental composure in unfamiliar situations
Obstacles are carefully selected to introduce new concepts without overwhelming the horse. The goal is steady exposure, correct responses, and building a foundation that supports future under-saddle work.
Exercises will primarily be completed in-hand, with lightly started horses working at a level appropriate to their training stage.
This clinic is ideal for owners who want to give their young horse quality exposure while reinforcing correct fundamentals from the beginning.
Limited spots available to ensure individualized instruction.
