His comedy journey began while stationed in Jacksonville, Florida, before returning to his roots in New Jersey, performing across the East Coast. Burke gained recognition through the "RoastMasters" competitions at The Stand in NYC, showcasing his exceptional joke-writing skills. His comedic prowess has earned him spots alongside legendary comics like Robert Kelly, Nick DiPaolo, Rich Vos, and his hero, Colin Quinn.
These experiences culminated in the creation of the podcast "American Loser," co-hosted with his father. Burke's first comedy special, "Escape from Jacksonville," released in 2022, featured viral clips that solidified his status as one of New Jersey's top comics. His latest album, "The Last Recital," dropped in December 2024, continuing his comedic success.
Beyond stand-up, Burke's "90 Second Loser" clips on Instagram have gained popularity, leading to the publication of his first book, History Isn’t Boring, Your Teacher Was, an Amazon bestseller released in November 2024.
