Kostas Sidirokastritis is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and music educator based in Athens, Greece. Raised in an environment surrounded by improvisers and jazz musicians, he experienced music early on as a natural and intuitive form of creative expression.
His sound is an authentic and unpretentious fusion of diverse genres, rooted in both songcraft and improvisation.His ensemble, Kostas Sidirokastritis Group, features long-time friends and accomplished musicians: Haris Haralabous (bass), Andreas Polyzogopoulos (trumpet), and Pantelis Takis (drums). The group has been an active presence in Athens’ underground music scene and, in 2023, recorded their debut album titled "First Colour".
