We would like to extend an invitation to everyone who wishes to further delve into Koryu Uchinadi and add something to their practice, regardless of style, school and experience.
This seminar will focus on covering/studying the version of Koryu Uchinadi Seisan Kata, which has come to us by way of Aragaki Seisho Sensei, alongside its functional applications. Despite its numerous variations, Aragaki Seisan Kata remains one of the oldest, most fundamental katas in Koryu Uchinda. Its defensive techniques, traditionally taught in the historic locations of Naha and Shuri (Okinawa), remain to this day, one of the most important defensive paradigms in Koryu Uchinadi. To further supplement our knowledge, we will also integrate some Koryu Uchinadi two-person flow drills.

The seminar will run 08/03/2025 from 11:00 to 16:00 and will take place at Aldham Village Hall. Colchester CO6 3RB. (* 3 min from Marks Tey Railway Station, * 36 min from Stansted airport.)
