🎉 Bachata Jack & Jill Competition – Open Level 🎉
Get ready to test your social dance skills in a fun, dynamic, and totally improvised format!
Our Jack & Jill Competition is an social dance competition where dancers sign up individually, and partners are randomly assigned each round. You’ll dance to randomly selected Bachata songs, showcasing your musicality, technique, and ability to connect with anyone on the floor—just like in a real social!
🕺 What is a Jack & Jill?
A Jack & Jill is a freestyle partner dance competition that celebrates spontaneity, musicality, and partner connection. There’s no choreography, no costumes, no pre-planned routines—just pure social dancing at its best.
📋 How It Works:
💫 Random Pairing: You’ll be paired with a new partner each round.
🎶 Random Music: Songs will be selected at random by the DJ.
🧑⚖️ Judged by [TBD]: You’ll be scored based on dancing technique, connection, timing, and expression.
🔄 Rounds: We’ll run Prelims, Semis, and Finals if needed based on the number of participants.
🎟️ Two Division: Novice, Intermediate [Self Selected]
🏆 Awards Ceremony: Winners will be announced during the Saturday Night Social—don’t miss it!
