To zaproszenie do wyjścia poza duety i eksplorowania dynamiki większej grupy – czerpiąc z klasycznych partytur zespołowych, takich jak Round Robin, Accumulation Score czy One Line, a także wspólnie tworząc nowe sposoby współdziałania w ruchu.Aby położyć solidne fundamenty, rozpoczniemy od praktyk rozwijających uważność, słuchanie i wyobraźnię. Będziemy pogłębiać nasz kontakt z ciałem, z innymi i z otoczeniem, badając, jak poruszamy się w przestrzeni i jak kształtują się relacje w grupie. Pozwolimy sobie zauważać znaczenia, wspomnienia i konteksty, które pojawiają się w tańcu. Poprzez zabawę strukturami i zadaniami poszukamy wolności w ograniczeniach, eksplorując performatywny aspekt naszych działań. To wszystko będziemy robić, tańcząc, obserwując, eksperymentując i doceniając proces – szukając rozwiązań w naszym ucieleśnionym „ja”.
Warsztat czerpie z wielu źródeł – zarówno z klasycznych partytur kontakt improwizacji, jak i nurtów rozwijających ją w stronę performatywną, takich jak Ensemble Thinking Niny Martin czy Relational Intelligence Nity Little. Inspirujemy się także narzędziami rozwijania wrażliwości grupowej w duchu inkluzywnego podejścia Adama Benjamina.

Klara specjalizuje się w byciu pomiędzy – pomiędzy sztuką a nauką, pomiędzy tańcem a psychologią, pomiędzy ucieleśnieniem a uciekającymi myślami, pomiędzy improwizacją a potrzebą struktury. Jako improwizatorka interesuje się zarówno strukturami kontaktowymi, jak i współczesnymi oraz postmodernistycznymi podejściami do tańca. Prowadzi warsztaty kontakt improwizacji i performatywnej improwizacji grupowej w Warszawie, w Plymouth (Anglia), a także na festiwalach, warsztatach i jako gościnna wykładowczyni na wydziałach tańca.
Swoją drogę zaczęła od studiowania fizyki teoretycznej, dziś praktykuje fizyczność w ruchu. Ukończyła psychologię oraz choreografię na poziomie magisterskim, a doktorat obroniła na pograniczu psychologii i sztuk performatywnych – badając twórczość i flow w tanecznej improwizacji grupowej (University of Plymouth). W tym czasie jednym z jej mentorów był Adam Benjamin, pracujący ze strukturami improwizacji grupowej open score. Od wielu lat jest także członkinią Institute for the Study of Somatic Communication pod kierunkiem Nity Little, badając granice inteligencji relacyjnej poprzez narzędzia kontakt improwizacji.
W ostatnich latach Klara prowadzi również badania naukowe nad tańcem oraz eksploruje jego pozytywne skutki uboczne, a w szczególności wpływ improwizacji na nasz dobrostan. Jednocześnie aktywnie tworzy przestrzenie dla tańca – jest kuratorką Warsaw CI Flow i Laboratoriów Ruchowych w Mazowieckim Instytucie Kultury oraz współorganizatorką działań KI w Totnes i Plymouth (UK).
W 2024 roku jako redaktorka i autorka współtworzyła książkę Kontakt Improwizacja w Polsce: zeszyt ćwiczeń I i już pracuje nad kolejną edycją.

Group scores in CI
Immerse yourself in the chaos and magic of group structures in contact improvisation, where contact is created not only through touch but also through space and time. This is an invitation to move beyond duets and explore larger group dynamics—drawing on classic group scores such as Round Robin, Accumulation Score, and One Line, while also co-creating new ways of interacting through movement.
To build a strong foundation, we will begin with practices that cultivate mindfulness in motion, deep listening, and imagination. We will deepen our connection to our bodies, others, and surroundings—exploring how we move through space and relationally with others. We will allow ourselves to notice the meanings, memories, and contexts that arise in dance. By playing with structures and tasks, we will seek freedom within constraints while also investigating the performative aspects of our actions. All of this will unfold through dancing, observing, experimenting, and appreciating the process—finding solutions within our embodied selves.
This workshop draws from many sources—both the classical scores of contact improvisation and approaches that extend it into a performative realm, such as Nina Martin’s Ensemble Thinking and Nita Little’s Relational Intelligence. We are also inspired by tools for developing group sensitivity, drawing from Adam Benjamin’s inclusive approach.

Klara specialises in being in between—between art and science, between dance and psychology, between embodiment and runaway thoughts, between improvisation and the need for structure. As an improviser, she is interested in contact structures as well as contemporary and postmodern approaches to dance. She teaches contact improvisation and performative group improvisation in Warsaw (PL) and Plymouth (UK), as well as at festivals, workshops, and as a guest lecturer in dance departments.
She began her journey by studying theoretical physics, and today, she explores physicality through movement. She holds master’s degrees in psychology and choreography and earned a PhD at the intersection of psychology and the performing arts—researching creativity and flow in group dance improvisation (University of Plymouth). During that time, one of her mentors was Adam Benjamin, who works with open score group improvisation structures. She has also been a long-time member of the Institute for the Study of Somatic Communication, led by Nita Little, where she explores the limits of relational intelligence through the tools of contact improvisation.
In recent years, Klara has been conducting scientific research on dance, examining its positive side effects, particularly the impact of improvisation on well-being. At the same time, she actively creates spaces for dance—curating Warsaw CI Flow and Movement Laboratories at the Mazovian Institute of Culture, as well as co-organizing contact improvisation activities in Totnes and Plymouth (UK).
In 2024, as an editor and author, she co-authored Contact Improvisation in Poland: Exercise Book I and is already working on the next edition.
