The Scraps are three best friends that piece together an interesting book - a raw, honest, and powerful blend of electric, hypnotic blues and fresh, gritty folk. Turn to one page and you find them harnessing the old time blues of Furry Lewis, while on the next they’re picking up the raw blues rock that the Black Keys left behind. Flip it again, and now they’re studying Levon and The Band, and moving forward with lessons from Chadwick Stokes. Pieces of J Roddy Walston and the Business influence the energy and fun, where The Districts inform their indie edge. Across it all, The Scraps have one overarching theme and that’s passion. Music played within an inch of it’s life, and creating something that can’t be explained any other way. You get it or you don’t. But they sure hope you do.
