Come be part of a space for mindfulness and compassionate action with Konektiv for Palestine, a family friendly fundraiser for the victims of the Palestine-Israeli War. We'll start out early with Zum & Zack, a puppet show for young and old put on by Dafa Theatre featuring Palestinian artist Jeries AbuJaber and Hungarian artist Reka Deak. After a break for drinks, soup and connection, we'll close of with Slovak artist Adriána Vančová (timmi) and Palestinian artist Husam Abed's mournful and beautiful collaboration, which had its premiere during Konektiv Night VII towards the end of last year.
Our hearts go out to those caught in the horror of Gaza. We look on through our screens and feel helpless, even hopeless. This event is not an answer to what can we do to make a difference, but what can we do to keep eyes and a dialogue open, to remain aware. All of the proceeds from this event will go to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. Entry will be offered on a sliding scale. Give what you can <3
