Výstava s názvem Miquel Barceló a světy slov je vůbec první umělcova prezentace v České republice a zaměřuje se na jeho dlouhodobý a intenzivní vztah k literatuře. Tento vztah se stal inspirací pro mnoho Barcelóových děl v různých obdobích jeho velmi úspěšné umělecké kariéry, která trvá více než čtyři desetiletí. Katalog představuje umělce stejně jako výstava prostřednictvím obrazů, keramiky, akvarelů, bronzů, grafik a knih.
Katalog pokřtí kurátor výstavy Enrique Juncosa, úvodního slova se ujme ředitel Instituto Cervantes v Praze Gonzalo Manglano de Garay.
Před křtem se uskuteční komentovaná prohlídka výstavy s kurátorem od 16.00. Ta proběhne v angličtině s překladem do češtiny.

The exhibition Miquel Barceló and the Written Worlds is the artist's first ever presentation in the Czech Republic and focuses on his long-standing and intense relationship with literature. This relationship has inspired many of Barceló's works throughout his highly successful artistic career, which spans more than four decades. The catalog presents the artist, as does the exhibition, through paintings, ceramics, watercolors, bronzes, prints, and books.
The catalog will be launched by the exhibition's curator, Enrique Juncosa, with an introductory speech by Gonzalo Manglano de Garay, director of the Instituto Cervantes in Prague.
Before the launch, there will be a guided tour of the exhibition with the curator at 4 p.m. The tour will be held in English with translation into Czech.
