Kom med til en sjov dag, hvor vi vil lege, vi er andre arter! Gennem kunst, fantasi, leg og viden skaber vi empati og forbindelse mellem mennesker og andre arter.
Vi laver fine, simple masker med naturmaterialer og farver. Vi tager maskerne på, og forvandler os til lokale arter! Vi bevæger os og danser som dem til musik. Vi (børn, voksne, alle der har lyst!) skaber en historie om og med arterne i legen.
Vi guider hele forløbet, men lader legen og historierne udfolde sig på deres egne præmisser.
Børnene ved allerede meget mere om at lege end vi voksne, så vi glæder os til at lære nye ting. Vi skal lytte meget mere til børnene i vores samfund.
Workshoppen afholdes ifm. åben Arternes Ambassade i Kulturhuset Islands Brygge i juni måned. Det er gratis at deltage. Aldersgruppe ca 3-7 år.
Program:
11-11:30 Vi guider i andre arters bevægelser, med udgangspunkt i yoga
11:30-11:50: Vi laver masker
11:50-12:00: Pause
12:00-12:30 Vi tager maskerne på og forvandler os til andre arter, og bevæger os og leger som gruppe!
Hvem er vi?
Becoming Species er en aktivistisk performance-gruppe, der sætter fokus på arternes overlevelse og biodiversiteten, ved (gennem bl.a. meditation, bevægelse og leg), at være i en konstant forvandling mod at blive og forstå andre arter, og på den måde forstærke arternes stemmer i samfundet.

Nature workshop for children and their adults with the group Becoming Species.
Join us for a fun day where we will play we are other species! Through art, imagination, play and knowledge, we create empathy and connection between humans and other species.
We make beautiful, simple masks with natural materials and colors. We put on the masks and transform into local species! We move and dance like them to music. We (children, adults, everyone who wants to!) create a story about and with the species in the game.
We guide the whole process, but let the game and the stories unfold on their own terms.
The kids already know a lot more about playing than we adults, so we look forward to learning new things. We need to listen much more to the children in our society.
The workshop is held in connection with open Embassy of Species in Kulturhuset Islands Brygge in June. It is free to join. Age group about 3-7 years.

Who are we?
Becoming Species is an activist performance group that focuses on the species' survival and biodiversity, by (through meditation, movement and play, among other things), being in a constant transformation towards becoming and understanding other species, and in that way strengthen the voices of the species in society.
