Have you ever seen plants growing without a planter? This ancient art of kokedama originated from Japan and is still being practised today. Kokedama literally translates into Moss Ball. They look amazing in the garden and even indoors as a modern art deco piece.Join me for a fun relaxing afternoon learning to craft your own kokedama and make a simple macrame hanger to hang your kokedama at home.
Date: Saturday 1 June 2024
Time: 2pm (allow up to 2 hours)
Venue: The Hilltop Eyrie Studio in Eltham
*Address will be provided 24hours prior to the session.
Ages: 13 yo and up (younger teens allowed if accompanied by a paying adult)
🪴What you will learn
We will be creating a Succulent Kokedama with a matching macrame kokedama hanger.
All materials will be provided.
This workshop includes step by step instructions for making your own Kokedama and a matching macrame kokedama hanger, plant selection, substrate mix as well as care tips for your creation.
🪴Where and What to Wear:
The workshop will be held in a private studio indoors. Wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting messy with. You may like to bring an apron or there will be some available for use on the day.
Bring a small box/container to take your creations home.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund or a transfer of credit.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
You may cancel 72 hours before class starts and request for a credit note to be used for future purchase of living art creations from The Hilltop Eyrie. A $20 administive fee per ticket will be charged for cancellation of booking.

Anyone partaking in any workshops or coming to any events organised by The Hilltop Eyrie must agree to the following terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by TheHilltopEyrie.
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give The Hilltop Eyrie unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs, videos or recordings taken at The Hilltop Eyrie 's workshops or events. (For use as marketing materials).
Photos and videos recordings of children's faces will not be taken without written permission from parents or guardians.
Participant video recording is strictly prohibited.
3.) REFUNDS
The Hilltop Eyrie does not provide a refund for change of mind.
4.) CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a class is cancelled by The Hilltop Eyrie, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund or a transfer of credit for future workshops or purchase of botanical creations from TheHilltopEyrie.
