About this Event

Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust, in collaboration with Te Kohuroa Rewilding Initiative, are running a FREE, 2-Day Stream Health Assessment and Monitoring Kit (SHMAK) training on November 25th and December 2nd.

We're inviting local individuals and groups in the Leigh to Whangateau area to join us to learn more about water quality and stream biodiversity indicators, via our 2-Day SHMAK training. This will be an engaging, hands-on training session which individuals and groups can use to understand the current and ongoing ecological health of their local streams. Follow up support will be kindly offered in the local catchment by the Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust Wai Connection team. We thank the Ministry for the Environment for funding this event.
