Men’s Division will be scratch
Women’s Division will be handicap (90% of 210)
Composite average of 2023-2024 USBC season average.
If you do not have a 2023-2024 average, your 2022-2023 composite average will be used. If the bowler does not have a composite average for 22-23 or 21-22, the bowler must use a 210 average. All bowlers must have a USBC membership. All averages are subject to re-rate at the tournament director’s discretion.
Youth bowlers are eligible to participate. They will be asked for waivers, but some waivers will be provided as well. Any prize money accrued will go into the bowler’s SMART account. All college bowlers without a league average will use their college bowling average, with subject to conversion for patterns bowled on.
King: The top qualifiers will bowl stepladder. Stepladder will be based on amount of entries, with a maximum of 5 qualifiers. 3,4,5 seeds will bowl one game. The highest game will then bowl the 2 seed in one game. The winner of that match will bowl the 1 seed. The winner of that match will be crowned the king.
Same format will be followed for the women, based on amount of entries, with a maximum up to 5 qualifiers. The winner from stepladder matches will be crowned the queen.
The King and Queen will automatically qualify to defend their crown the next month, with the chance to win the Crown Pot. The defending king or queen is not required to bowl qualifying in order to bowl their defending match.
The King/Queen that retains their crown the following month wins 70% of Crown Pot.
A new King/Queen wins 50% of Crown Pot.
Remaining % of Crown pot will roll over to the next month
