THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY | OCTOBER 18 - 2010 AM – 4 PM | JOHN M. LEE COURT | BONSAI DISPLAY
Did you know that bonsai trees are not typically ancient, don't have to be expensive, and can be created using ordinary plants from your local nursery? Contrary to common belief, most bonsai trees thrive outdoors. Bonsai is a dynamic and evolving art form, transforming ordinary plants into unique, living sculptures.
Kofu Kai Bonsai Club members will be on hand throughout the run of this display, featuring living bonsai masterpieces, to share their insight and appreciation for this ancient art form.
Don’t miss a special bonsai demonstration by expert Jason Chan on Saturday, October 19 at 1 PM in John M. Lee Court. Limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets: Free; museum admission not included.
